About Peter


I’ve been a business broker with ABC Business Sales for 20 years, helping hundreds of people buy and sell businesses across New Zealand. I’ve worked on everything from small owner-operator businesses to multi-million-dollar acquisitions and sales, across industries like import, manufacturing, contracting, distribution and service.

Before becoming a broker, I spent 15 years running businesses of my own. I’ve bought, grown, and sold multiple businesses, including through a broker, so I understand the process from both sides of the table. I know what it feels like to make big decisions with imperfect information, and I know the pressure that comes with putting your livelihood (and your savings) on the line with an unknown buyer.

Along the way, I’ve also spent five years as a professional business coach, and a business mentor, helping other business owners grow their companies and prepare them for eventual sale.
